It Was all Worth It in the EndLeigh Davies

I met my partner, who is now my fiance, back in Duffryn High School. My brother had introduced us to each other. It was love at first sight. At first I was so shy and timid around him, blushing and stuttering… and we really became close, until one day we had no choice but to leave each other due to me moving house and school. Eventually we found each other again. It’s like fate brought us back together as I feel we do truly belong together. I love him very much.
I remember becoming pregnant for the first time and giving birth to my son, who is now 8 years old. It was a very long and intense labour which resulted in me having a c-section... but it was all worth it in the end. My son is a lovely boy who is full of joy, and I truly enjoy teaching him the things that I have learnt in life and teaching him how to draw things - just like how my father taught me when I was little.
It’s nice for him to learn new things and enjoy his time with the people he loves because it distracts him from his own personal problems in life. He suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
